30-year-old boyfriend breaks up with his girlfriend of 9 years because she likes to cuddle her cat at night: 'This is so embarrassing I cannot believe this might be our deal breaker'

There are lots of reasons for which a relationship can end - from simple incompatibility to things much worse. But one thing that they should not break over is cats, but shockingly, that happens more often than you may think. Seriously. We have seen everything from - boyfriends not being able to handle being 'second' to the cat because of their fragile egos, to boyfriends asking their girlfriends to choose between them and the cat, all the way to one boyfriend call his girlfriend unhygienic because of the cat that she sometimes kisses on the forehead. All of these are terrible, obviously, but today's story kind of takes the cake.

9 years. This couple has been together for almost a decade, and the reason that they are breaking up is… you guessed it - the cat. But it's not just the cat. The reason that they are ending a decade-long relationship is because this boyfriend, who have spent the last 9 years knowing that his girlfriend cuddled her cat at night, once they have moved in together, suddenly can't handle it anymore.

Break up with him. Seriously. Let's not even talk about the fact that you have been dating for nine years without him asking you to marry or without even moving in with you… asking you to change your behavior with your cat is unacceptable. Certainly not after 9 years during which he for sure knew that you cuddled with your cat at night.
